Market Town
Market Town
For those that fancy a stroll around two gorgeous market towns, The Globe is perfectly situated to enjoy two of the UK’s favourites. Although Leamington Spa is recognised as a spa town, it holds all the attributions of a market town.
Warwick
The historic town of Warwick is most famous for its medieval castle set in 64 acres of grounds and gardens, with the River Avon running alongside. The Mill gardens sit at the base of the walls of the castle and are renowned for the quality of the planting and breath-taking views. The town itself offers many opportunities to while away hours in the fresh air, with impressive historic buildings lining the streets. A trip to Warwick market, which runs every Saturday, offers a bustling outdoor shopping experience.
Leamington Spa
Leamington Spa is best known for its Regency architecture and broad boulevards. The Royal Pump Rooms, a 19th-century bathhouse, now houses the Leamington Spa Art Gallery and Museum. Jephson gardens is a formal Victorian park in the centre of the town with colourful flowerbeds and sculptures. In the centre of the park is The Glasshouse, which is home to a range of impressive tropical and temperate plants.
